Electricity and water minister chairs second GCC ministerial cooperation meeting
Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan chaired the second ministerial meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council's Electricity and Water Cooperation Committee, held by videoconference. Humaidan stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the electricity and water sectors to achieve Gulf integration. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the GCC General Secretariat and the GCC Interconnection Authority. The meeting also discussed water interconnection projects and strengthening the electricity interconnection network among member states.
